Silk scarf (8" by 54"), dye plants, dye will be provided.  You are more than welcome to utilize plant material that grows in your own yards as well!  Simply preserve the leaves by pressing them as you would flowers.  You will need 12-18 for the size of the scarf.  Please message with any questions.
 
Please wear clothing that you are ok with getting dye on.  Or bring an apron.  After the scarves are steaming in the roasters we will have a discussion on diving deeper into true eco printing and natural dyes.  This class is intended as a step into using plants.  We do use powdered dyes on the silk scarves in this class.
